Acute therapy Pyrimethamine 200 mg POx1, then 50 mg (<60 kg body weight) to 75 mg (≥60 kg) PO QD and sulfadiazine 1,000 (<60 kg) to 1,500 mg (≥60 kg) PO q6h plus leucovorin 10–20 mg PO QD (can increase ≥50 mg) (AI) Total duration for acute therapy is at least 6 weeks (BII) |
