Merck & Co. said Monday its Gardasil human papillomavirus and Rotateq rotavirus vaccines have been adopted for use in the federal Vaccines for Children program. The CDC program provides vaccines to children in all 50 states who are Medicaid-eligible, uninsured, Native American or underinsured. The vaccines are also available through city programs in Washington, D.C., New York City, Philadelphia, Chicago, and San Antonio.
