Hepatitis Drug's New Name: Incivek

Vertex Pharmaceuticals Inc.'s hepatitis C drug telaprevir, which won the endorsement last week of an expert panel of Food and Drug Administration advisers, has been given its brand name: Incivek (pronounced in-see-veck). FDA's decision on whether to grant final approval of the drug is expected May 23.
