Kaiser Permanente Hawaii has awarded $7,500 to the Life Foundation to support services such as HIV prevention, care, and case management for Native Hawaiians. Founded in 1983, Life Foundation was Hawaii's first AIDS organization. Its programs include school-based AIDS education, needle exchange, peer support, and prevention counseling.
