Intended Audience:
This activity was developed for physicians and other health care professionals treating patients with HIV.

Statement of Need:
A thorough examination of the most recent developments in HIV research and their practical applications to clinical practice is warranted to aid HIV providers in identifying and employing the most successful treatment strategies available. This program will provide a forum for HIV specialists to interact with a panel of national experts to facilitate the transfer of essential knowledge and the confidence necessary to adopt the most cutting edge treatment approaches.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

1. Identify current and emerging treatment challenges facing HIV practitioners and patients
2. Translate recent evidence into clinical practice to address current and emerging treatment challenges
3. Adopt and apply new strategies, based on recent evidence and clinical experiences, to effectively manage patients with HIV
