AAHIVM Sign-Up Sheets for Volunteers and Clinics

Many of you have signed up as volunteers to help with Hurricane Katrina relief. Some have signed up on the HRSA site and others of you have volunteered for the NIH Consultation list. We have heard your frustration that there is no HIV-specific volunteer opportunity.

We also know that while places like Baton Rouge and Houston have many volunteers, smaller places have not been able to reach out for volunteers, even if they are able to find places for them to work.

This recovery effort will take months, if not years. To that end, AAHIVM announces a new initiative to try to link volunteer providers with clinics that need help, either now or in the future.

If you would like to volunteer to serve, click here to be linked to a signup form which will be sent to AAHIVM. There is opportunity on the sheet for medical providers, case managers, social workers, pharmacists and PharmDs and others.
