Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) works very well at preventing HIV transmission. We've seen many studies showing the overwhelming success of PrEP -- and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends daily PrEP for those who may be at substantial HIV risk -- yet many still face challenges in accessing and affording PrEP. At CROI 2015, we asked some of the leading minds in HIV to identify specific barriers people have when trying to obtain PrEP and how to overcome them.
