Fiscal Health training

On May 29-30, 2013, more than 30 participants gathered in Las Vegas, NV for two days of intensive Fiscal Health trainings, led by HealthHIV. The highly successful regional training focused on a range of topics including: Fiscal Management & Accountability for Non Profits, Program Monitoring & Quality Management, and Income Diversification -- Planning for Program Sustainability. Attendees evaluated the training highly, with 88% indicating that they gained practical knowledge could be applied to their organizations.

As well as conducting the successful Las Vegas training, HealthHIV's Fiscal Health team delivered on-site technical assistance to agencies in San Diego, CA; Oakland, CA; Charlotte, NC; and Providence, RI. Trainings in each of these cities focused on a range of topics including: agency strategic planning, Ryan White program planning, and fiscal monitoring system audits.
