Does your health center want to expand primary care services to include HIV care and treatment?
Today, patients living with HIV are seeking care and treatment from their primary care providers. However, your health center may not be in a position to provide HIV care and treatment, especially without dedicated funding for these services.
The AIDS Education and Training Centers National Center for HIV Care in Minority Communities (AETC NCHCMC), led by HealthHIV, is offering free capacity building assistance to community health centers (CHCs) to expand existing primary care services to treat people living with HIV.
Our program, the HIV in Primary Care Learning Community, provides tailored clinical HIV training and mentoring and individualized performance improvement coaching for HIV integration in primary care. Other program benefits include:
This opportunity is extended to Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and FQHC Look-Alikes with no direct funding from the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program. Subcontractors and indirectly funded organizations are eligible to apply.
