HealthHIV and Clinical Care Options (CCO), a leader in next-generation medical education, information, and publishing for healthcare professionals, announced a new series of CME/CE-certified interactive local live workshops.
The live meeting series and accompanying online education will provide much needed training to an important subset of primary care providers who are not HIV specialists but manage a significant caseload of patients living with HIV. This emerging class of HIV primary care providers often reports not making full use of HIV-specific resources. Most of them cite difficulties making time for training and often find the presentation of HIV information in current medical trainings intimidating.
To minimize the possibility of such barriers and improve clinicians' ability to apply evidence-based best practices, CCO has created an HIV resource page specifically for primary care providers in its digital point-of-care textbook, inPractice® HIV. Enhanced by 6 additional databases, inPractice® HIV features continuously updated and interactive information.
Visit HealthHIV and Clinical Care Options regularly for additional updates on this cutting-edge HIV education endeavor.
