triomune Posted: Oct 26, 2006 QUESTION: have you got any comment on triomunne30 vs triomunne40.is it true that the current research shows no difference between the two and yet the side effects from 40 are greater?


RESPONSE FROM: Pretty much. There is not a lot of data but there is a perception that 40 mg of stavudine is too toxic and that 30 mg will be better and probably as effective. We do not have great studies to back this up. Certainly, for those weighing less than 60 kg, 40 mg is too great. DW
