Recent data from the Retro conference suggests that in men with lowish testosterone levels, supplemental testosterone can reduce subcutaneous adipose tissue but does not improve visceral fat. In patients with glucose intolerance, metformin has decreased abdominal girth (and weight) but side effects can be a problem.
