QUESTION:
I am resistant to 2 of the 3 drugs I am on now, there is only one left but it is really discomforting because of side effects, I have been told the virus is hit my CNS and I am wheelchair bound, incontinate and have dimentia, outlook is grim however, should I risk changing the meds or just wait until the only outcome I have left?

Thank you for your question.
Sounds to me that it's time for a detailed discussion with your doctor about your long-term prognosis and treatment options. If your resistant to 2 of your current medications, continued treatment with this regimen is likely to result in the further worsening of drug resistance and loss of any future treatment options.
As such, while I can certainly understand that your current health situation is not rosey; there very well may be good treatment options for you now that could possibly improve your outcomes.
