HIV and AIDS research

QUESTION:
Drs. Young and Cohen,
I am currently in my last year of graduate study, and I'm starting the search for a post-doctoral research position. My doctoral research is in the area of cellular and molecular biology, and I am interested in working in HIV and AIDS research as a post-doc. I'm not sure where to begin such a search, however, and as such I would be thankful for any advice that you could offer. I'm particularly interested in the area of vaccine and/or drug development, but I'm certainly not opposed to any area of research related to HIV and AIDS.
Thank you so much for your help, and I look forward to hearing from you.

RESPONSE FROM:
Thanks for your question and interest--
The way that I approached this question when I was a grad student and post-doc was to look at the current scientific publications in your area of interest-- say, vaccine development or drug discovery (review articles are a good place to start). I then simply call or write to the senior author on the article for advice or inquiry about possible positions.
Good luck with your endevours. BY
