Do Bed Bugs Transmit the HIV virus?

QUESTION:

A friend of mine has HIV. He recently discovered he had bed bugs and then called the exterminator. They came and took bug samples and smirked and said they would come back later to exterminate. When bed bug bite, do they suck blood from their victims and is it possible for the bed bugs to transmit the virus if they bite another victim?

    There is no evidence of insect transmission of HIV- bed bugs, mosquitos or otherwise.
