what is the status of the liver function tests in last stage of hiv(AIDS)in untreated individuals ?

    Liver function test abnormalities are not uncommon among persons with advanced HIV- the causes are multiple, ranging from adverse drug reaction (toxicity) to cormorbid infection (eg., viral hepatitis). This complication is especially common among TB- or HCV-coinfected patients.
